3 ways to maximise your brand photos in your marketing
If you’re considering investing in professional brand photography for your business you want to make sure you can get the most mileage out of the images so they can be used as effectively and impactfully as possible across all your marketing platforms. Here are three things to think about that will help you have the images work for you in a variety of ways across all platforms from websites to social media.
Create space
Images that include blank space, or at least an area in the image that has less going on in it allows you to use that space to add in text, a logo or a quote without disrupting the flow of the photo.
2. Horizontal vs Vertical
Images being used for social media? Vertical images take up more real estate on feeds which allows more opportunity to capture a scroller’s attention. Often smaller details get missed when the image is in a horizontal format as they’re condensed into a smaller space.
To help out with the horizontal vs vertical image trade-off, create the option of both by playing around with crops and create a vertical image by cropping a horizontal one. Just make sure your image is high-resolution enough - too low res and the new cropped image will appear grainy and out of focus.
