Every photographer has their own process, and this is an outline of the type of process you can expect when working with me:

Step 1 - Strategy Session. These calls are structured in different ways depending on what kind of photos we’re creating (branding, business portraits or events). The strategy call is where we create a game plan of what visuals we will create. We will look at your business goals, your mission, and importantly your values so that we can distinguish the most powerful, values-aligned and engaging visual stories to tell. I’m all about intentionality, so creating a base of images that we KNOW that we’ll create is key! Of course, we’ll create images outside of these too because we’re going to get inspired on the shoot day too.

Step 2 - Shoot Prep. I’ll curate a shot list and outline of the time that we’ll spend together. We’ll plan for anything that needs to be taken care of before the day. Wardrobe, location, props, and anything else that may’ve come up on your strategy call.

Step 3 - Shoot Day(s) - Toot toot!

Step 4 - Image Selects and Delivery. You’ll receive a gallery of curated selects to choose your final images to be edited. The images are delivered in a private gallery and available for you to download and share out!

This depends on what kind of session you book. Business Portrait sessions are typically 5 final edited images of your choosing, and Business Branding sessions are anywhere between 15 - 50 final edited images of your choosing, depending on which type of session you’ve booked. Additional images from your gallery are available to purchase if you decide that you’d like more than what was initially booked.

Yes! I’ll guide you during your session, offer suggestions, and we’ll try out different poses so that the photos we capture are totally you looking and feel natural and aligned with who you are.

That’s okay! I promise you’ll get to feel comfortable during your session. We also connect a few times before the shoot day, so when we meet we won’t be strangers.

A Business Portrait shoot is all about capturing YOU. The focus of each photograph is you, and the goal is that you receive a set of images that are a reflection of your personality and values. Business Portrait images can be used across areas such as your social media profiles (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc) and on the ‘About’ or ‘Meet the Team’ page of your website. Images taken during this type of session would be what might be used if you’re a guest on a panel, podcast or interview, and what you might use as part of telling your story in various capacities.

A Business Branding shoot is all about telling a fuller, rounded story. Images created will provide your audience with a look into different areas that make up your brand. Your gallery of images would include business portraits, and also location shots, close-up detail shots, ‘in-action’ shots, and shots of what it looks like to deliver your service, or make your product. You’ll come away with your own library of images to share out on socials, your website, and other marketing platforms you use. Clients often book branding shoots if they:

• Are creating or refreshing their website and want images to populate it

• Want a bank of cohesive images to use across social media

• Want to promote upcoming offers or partnerships with aligned images

• Are launching a new service or product and need images to accompany the offers
